IONIQ Security Service is a comprehensive set of measures designed to make buying and selling on our marketplace both safe and transparent. We believe every transaction should have the highest possible protection for both parties. Below, you’ll find details on how our system works and why it earns the trust of both buyers and sellers.

For Buyers

1. Sellers with the “Verified” Label
2. Our marketplace features sellers whose reputations are already confirmed. We may have personally invited them, or they’ve earned a high rating through positive reviews. You can purchase products from these sellers with minimal risk.
3. New Sellers: the “DYOR” Disclaimer
4. If you encounter a new seller without established reviews, you’ll see a “DYOR” (“Do Your Own Research”) label. It’s not a ban on purchases but rather a friendly reminder:
5. “This seller is just getting started. We recommend trying something low-cost first to confirm their reliability.”
6. Buyer Support and Dispute Resolution

• If you have any questions for the seller, it’s easy to contact them directly through the built-in Web3 chat or the provided contact details. In most cases, issues are resolved quickly.
• In a serious conflict, you can escalate the issue to the IONIQ team. We may request evidence (e.g., a video of your attempt to activate the key). If the seller truly violates the rules, we’ll take measures up to and including reimbursement from their security deposit or even account suspension.

Thanks to these measures, buyers can feel confident, knowing that if anything unexpected happens, they have the platform’s protection and support.

For Sellers

1. Protection Against Buyer Fraud

• All payments go through a smart contract. If the transaction is successful, you are guaranteed to receive payment.
• It’s impossible to “cancel” the transaction or contest the payment without grounds, as the smart contract’s logic is both immutable and verifiable.

1. Secret Data Security via the “IONIQ Guard Algorithm”

• Unique Multi-Layer Architecture
• The “IONIQ Guard Algorithm” is our in-house high-tech solution that unifies smart contract logic, cryptographic verification of transactions, and a secure server infrastructure.
• One-Way Logic
• The algorithm functions with a “forward-only” principle: if the smart contract confirms a successful payment, the key is automatically assigned to that specific buyer. The system does not allow any reverse operations or data overwriting.
• Built-In Cryptographic Verification
• Each key delivery is accompanied by a digital signature check. Any attempt to falsify payment status or interfere with key delivery is blocked at both the smart contract and multi-layer security level.

• All critical operations are logged on the blockchain and confirmed using secure protocols. As a result, every transaction is publicly verifiable, and the chance of fraud is essentially zero.

• You can place a security deposit (USD 500). If there are serious complaints about product quality or deception, these funds will be used to reimburse buyers. In return, the “DYOR” label will be removed from your profile immediately.
• Alternatively, once you’ve accumulated 100 positive reviews, the system will automatically remove the “DYOR” label.
• Both options help you build trust with the community more rapidly.

• We do not get involved in minor misunderstandings: we suggest you first try to sort them out directly with the buyer.
• If the situation is complex, IONIQ serves as the arbiter. However, decisions are based on concrete evidence, protecting the seller from unfounded claims.

This way, honest sellers don’t have to worry about possible scams or endless disputes: everything is transparent and verifiable through the blockchain.
